July 16....I started with a box of peaches from my cousin's packing shed.
With a little help from my 8 year old, we got through it quickly!
He did a great job of getting on the peels off...then it was my job to cut them up and throw them in the pot!
Then we got the pot boiling...oh the smell of peaches cooking!
And finally, we had our finished product -- 11 jars. YUMMY!
Just a small portion of what we'll need this winter.....
