In case you can't read the words...
Ryan has been learning about weather/clouds at Chapter One. Yesterday, he drew me a picture of some clouds and asked how to spell cumulonimbus, one of the types of clouds. I had no idea, but I wasn't going to tell him that! So I said, "well, let's sound it out." Sure enough, we sounded it out and he wrote down the letters he heard. (Well, the first N was supposed to be an M but he got interrupted.)
Pretty good for an almost 5 year old in preschool!
