Mine Fun

The next day we went to Bisbee to the Queen Mine Tour. We had to get our slickers and helmets on and get outfitted with a flashlight before taking the "train" down into the mine. It was 1500 feet in at the farthest point that we could go in.
Ready to go a-mining! :-)
Michael had to try out the different pieces of equipment down deep.
They had some "dynamite" for us to hold. The boys thought it was fun! Here's Joshua holding it.
Michael's turn...
And here's Ryan!
And here's a "miner" down deep in the copper mines.
After we explored the mine, we found a grassy area for a picnic. The boys loved being outside to eat, and the weather was just right! It was a fun experience to have -- and we'll go again if we go back to Arizona!
