January 11

What a great day January 11 is! This post was supposed to be published on the 11th, but we've had some delays this week! :-)

45 years ago, a little boy was born. This little boy has grown into an amazing godly man, an incredibly hard worker, a wonderful husband, and a terrific daddy. I am so thankful to have this "little boy" as my husband. I love you honey!

8 years ago I took a pregnancy test and found out that we were expecting our first baby -- a baby we had longed for and prayed about. Bill was out of town with the military and when I called him that morning to wish him a happy birthday, I was able to say, "Happy birthday Daddy." He was shocked and surprised. And 8 months later our Joshua was born. I love you Joshua!

5 years ago, I took another pregnancy test and discovered we were pregnant again. This was another blessing pregnancy since we had lost one a few months prior to this. Bill was at work when I was a the doctor's office (I had gone in for a sinus infection and she asked if there was a chance I could be pregnant...I said possibly. She did a test and then gave me the good news!), so I called him when I was done to tell him the great news. And again, 8 months later, another precious baby entered this world. I love you Michael!

So as you can see, January 11 is a very special day in the Bowe household. Happy birthday dear husband. I thank God for you. I love you so much.
