sick kids

I hate having sick kids. It breaks my heart.

Thursday was Ryan's day -- I found him in his crib with throw up all over! :-( Poor baby. I took him to work with me (thankfully I was working at my parents for most of the morning). He fell asleep on me for over an hour. When I left to go meet students, my mom kept him and he took two more naps on her. Thankfully he was mostly back to normal by Friday morning.

Saturday 2:30 am -- Michael shows up in my room throwing up. Get him cleaned up, back to bed, and situated.
3:30 - -hear Michael throwing up again.
3:45 -- hear him throwing up again.
and again
and again.
Finally by 4:30 he was in bed and sleeping and I drifted off to sleep.
Thought he was doing better by Saturday evening, so he had some crackers.
Fine for most of the day on Sunday, but then threw up right before dinner with all the company here! UGH. How can this be? UGLY, UGLY flu bug. He begged for pizza last night, but there was no way I could allow him to have some. Finally I let him have a saltine cracker every 30 minutes along with some water.

He seemed better today, but then threw up again at lunch time. Poor baby.

Now all I hear him saying, "mom, I'm hungry. Can I please have some _____?" (Fill in the blank) Then he pouts and looks at me with these pitiful eyes.
"Please give me something to eat."
"I"m hungry."
"I won't throw up."
"Please can I have a zweibach."

It is killing me. Please God, heal my little boy.

I'm so sorry. This is how Ian does flu bugs. Everyone else gets a 24hour-ish thing and he is sick and sick and sick and sick for days. I feel so bad for him. Praying your little ones are all well now, and that you manage to dodge it.
