Every day at 11:40, my cell phone rings as a "minder" to go get Joshua from the bus stop. Michael knows what the "minder" means...he hears it and says, "time to get Josh!" It is cute. He always wants to get on the bus, but I have to tell him that he is too little.
Anyhow, the bus driver, Candy, told me several weeks ago that someday she would give us a ride from the bus stop to our house (about 1 1/2 blocks) so he could ride the bus.
Well today was the day! It was raining and so after the other kids got off the bus, we hopped on. She drove us to our house and we got off. Michael was grinning so big the whole time. The other three boys on the bus thought it was pretty funny that Joshua's mommy and brother were on the bus! One of their moms even called tonight to say she heard we got a bus ride.
What a happy little two year old I had! Even though she'll probably never read this, thanks Candy!

i could pass on the cute story to her at work...but it'd be through her supervisor...don't want her to get in trouble...glad michael got a ride!!!!! how did ryan respond?
That is sweet. I love how those simple things can just make a kid's day.
That was so nice of the bus driver! I'm sure Michael was thrilled!
It was really nice of her -- and Michael WAS thrilled!
