Numbers

Here is my day in numbers......

3 -- the number of times I got woken up in the night

4 -- the number of doctor/dentist appointments today

150 -- minutes in the doctor/dentist offices either waiting or being seen....

3 -- people it took to hold down Michael to check his ears at the doctor's office

2 -- red ears (Michael's, not mine)

15 -- pounds Ryan weighed in at (unofficially) at the doctor's office

20 -- minutes in the grocery store to get 7 items

2 -- minutes I had to eat my lunch in peace

4 -- big boy pants Michael wet today (plus two or three pairs of pants and a shirt!)

1 -- the only time (thankfully) that the little potty chair got dumped over and all the potty spilled on the carpet to clean up

4 -- prescriptions I picked up at the pharmacy (three for Michael and one for me)

13 -- times I heard "I'm hungry Mommy" while in the van

25 -- minutes I sat in the pharmacy drive through line

70 -- miles I drove to find out Michael did NOT have an ear infection after all

0 -- no election phone calls today. Praise God! I was so sick of them!

23 -- ants that I killed today before the ant man finally showed up to spray

8 -- dirty/wet diapers that I changed

4 -- times I have tried to get this to post correctly! GRRRR

This morning I had more numbers, but they have long disappeared from my brain.

And of course, this sounded a lot more creative when I thought about those things too!

Maybe I am just too tired? So if you are bored with this list, too bad! hehe

***On a side note....pray for Bill's mom. She is in the hospital (ICU) with health problems. We are trying to figure out if we should go down there this weekend. It is not recommended that the boys go into ICU because of her issues, so is it worth a 6 hour trip down there if they can't see her??

that is a lot of numbers to have taken the time to even count up! ha ha.

on the serious part...almost not worth a total of 12 hours if the boys (especially sick ones) can't see edith. but then you have to decide...for you and bill to each see her one last time...is that worth it? wouldn't that mean a lot to her? you know we support you either way!!!!!

Wow, that sounds like quite a day! I hope the rest of the week has been kinder to you.

What a creative post. I love the idea. And I am really relieved that the political calls are over, too! My word.

You HAVE had quite the day my dear. I'm just glad Michael doesn't have another ear infection.
